Due mainly to suggestions from members we have made, (and in some cases are still making) renovations and major improvements to Java Highlands Resort Villas.
Work that has now been completed includes:

-
Built in bench seats (above) on the second floor balconies provide not only more seating but also more balcony space.
-
The vertical stairs to the mezzanine bedroom level in the upstairs apartments (below) have been replaced with more “user friendly” angled stairs.

-
Comprehensive cleaning and
refur- bishment to bring the apartments back to 'as new' condition.
-
Wayang golek dolls now decorate the two bedroom apartment walls and the
coloured curtains in all apartments have been replaced with plain white curtains.
|

-
A new games room with pool table and other games is in operation.
-
The swimming pool and surrounding area cleanliness is assured now that the clean water supply and
supervision of the swimming pool is under Club control.

Q.
Can you please explain why, when I requested a spacebank week
in May 2002 you allocated a week which is already six months old?
Instead of having a week which expires in 24 months you gave me a
week which will expire in 18 months.
A. You were allocated a week from our “Bulk Bank” which
is an RCI facility that helps us to manage inventory.
The advantage to you is that a week assigned from our bulk bank has already been utilised by RCI and therefore has a higher trading priority than one which is ‘spacebanked’ with RCI for use at some future date.
It’s also a good idea when making your request if you tell reservations when you intend taking your holiday. They will then be able to assign a week to you that will suit your plans. If you don’t have definite plans
reservations will provide you with a week that will be good for the full two years.
Q. Are the kitchen facilities at Sol Elite Marbella Anyer the same as we have in
Puncak?
A. Yes, we have upgraded the kitchen facilities in the apartments at Sol Elite Marbella to a standard that is equal to
JHR.

Q.
What are the check-in and check-out times for Marbella Anyer.
A. At the present time, check-out no later than 12.00 noon Check-in at 03.00 pm, Fridays and Mondays are the check-in/out days. This will change in 2003 with check-in check-out days on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday to allow for two day stays.
Q. On my membership status report dated 19th March there was reference to a points deduction from my entitlement for a stay at a resort referred to as “other”. I would like to know what is meant by 'other' and if in fact it refers to an associated resort, why is it not specific? (Kel. Bapak Trisak Yuwono Member No.KJ # 201)
A. Many thanks for making this valid observation. Our IT department has now corrected the program and future status reports will be more specific in detailing your usage.
Q. How many points are required to stay at Marbella and is it on the same 3 and 4 day stay basis as JHR and JBR. (Kel. Bapak Agus Prihendrono KJ# 1486)
A. The points for Marbella are shown in the points chart on page 8 of this newsletter. You will also find the information in the member's section of our web-site at :
