New Beach Resort
at Karang Bolong
Following hard on the heels of last months announcement about our new mountain resort to be built at Lembang, near Bandung in West Java, this month we have more exciting news for members following the purchase of a beautiful 1 ˝ hectare beach side property at Karang Bolong, near Anyer on Java’s west coast.
The location has been selected because of its nearness to Jakarta and its popularity as a weekend beach destination alongside Anyer and Carita. At the time of going to press complete details of our second fully purpose built resort have not been finalised, but it is envisaged that an apartment style development with one and two bedroom accommodation would provide members with the best views and the most practical layout for the new resort.
However with all this still to be finalised we invite members to contribute their ideas regarding the facilities and
features they would like to see in their new resort. Wherever feasible and possible we will incorporate the most popular ideas and suggestions into the development.

The Jayakarta Bali Residence has again achieved Gold Crown Resort status from RCI, an award first won in 1996 and which has been maintained each year since then. The award is based on a variety of criteria including feedback from members regarding their holiday experience at the Jayakarta, the quality of service, the overall standard of the accommodation and facilities and a number of other holiday enhancing aspects.
In accepting the award from RCI's Asril Abdullah, Club Bali Resort Manager Herman Corbois said that we should try even harder to ensure that we maintain our standards for next year and every year by continually upgrading the quality of our service to members and guests. Perhaps the most important factor in the ongoing acceptance of Jayakarta Bali Residence as a top quality resort destination is the contribution made by the people working for the company. |

In this issue we introduce you to some of the nearly 250 Club Bali staff and management from the company's five locations within Indonesia, who work so hard to ensure that members fully enjoy the good times that your Club Bali and RBVC membership promises.
The Directors would also like to let the staff know how much their efforts are appreciated and that indeed without the enthusiasm and support of staff such as ours, Club Bali would not, could not exist, let alone operate successfully.
Service is the key to our success and with that very much in mind we recently conducted a department head 'think tank' seminar aimed at seeking input and ideas in regard to how service to our members could be improved. We call this initiative our 3M seminar, which in the Indonesian language stands for “Melayani dan menghormati member” and translates as “Service and Respect to our
members”. |
